Barely an hour when I'm quick. Yes, look at me with disbelief. I read that much that people think I'm overestimating myself, or lying. Not necessarily a good thing, sometimes.

I try and make them last as long as possibale because I love reading them so much so I try and read slow. It never really works through because its just way to hard not to read them fast. Then once I get done with it I read the series from the beging again just to catch up on everything. A little obssesed, I know, but it helps pass time waiting for the next book.

If I start it during a school week or something, usually about a week. But on weekends or breaks, I'll read on in about a day or two.

Oh, I dunno. Depends on the circumstances. A day or so if there are the average number of distractions (making lunch and eating it, changing the baby sib's diaper, sweeping the living room, ect,...)

xD A month. I have a trouble getting past the start. So unless it has a good fast start I'll drop the book.

I like to savor each book. So the first four I finished in less than a week, but the later one probably took one to two weeks. And I didn't realize I needed reading glasses until the seventh one.

Uninterrupted, I can do it in a couple hours. Interrupted - as is normal, unfortunately - takes me a day, maybe two.

I always read them striaght through, usually at night or on a long trip so there won't be any interruptions, and they take me 3-4 hours. I don't like to split up my reading because I'll forget some important detail that I would normally remember.

No matter how thick the book. Give me one week to finish the book from the thrilling page one.

Well, I'm re-reading the first one and I'm hoping to read it (the next 354 pages anyway) in 5 days, and I could probably do that really easily if I tried.

5 days? I re-read the first book last night in 2 and 1/2 hours. But that's just me, I read really fast.

People who say it took them an hour are disgusting liars. I'm a writer (and an exceptionally fast reader) and it takes me two days.
What are people going to say next?
"I jumped in a flume to first earth and read the book there, so I saved time actually."
Gimme a break.
Are there any other writers here? I proof read work so if you are interested, let me know

Haha! That was pretty funny.
Ok lets see it takes me usually 3-4 days for each book but Black Water and The Quillian Games took me about 7,8, or 9 days. I have no idea why, school I guess. But Pendragon is just to good to resist
