Shadow closed his eyes, and searched. His mind nudged everything in the area, people, rocks, twigs, everything, until he found the glasses. They lifted in front of him, and the dust wiped off side to side. A crack was frictioned to a superheated level, filling itself in, the spun around at high speeds to cool off. They landed in his hands and he examined them. "Good as new." They lifted onto Chase's eyes.

Then he noticed the girl, Jennifer, eying him. He stared at her for a second or two, then said, "What? You like what you see or something?" He said, crossing his arms.

Jennifer decided just to trust him. What was it that she fround so disturbing about him? Then she laughed. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." Then she froze, floating in midair. She became a bat and flew away. If nobody here had known her well enough, they would have thought that she might be deserting them.

Jen let out a few sharp clicks and barks of sound. When the echoes came back, she flew back down. "I knew it!" Jennifer panted. "There's someone watching us!"

~Will~

F***! F***! F***! F***! He cursed himself. God, girls have sensitive heaing! Or is it just that one in particular? He locked eyes with one of the boys and brought his powers to good use. "Now..." He murmured to quietly for anyone to hear. "Let's commit a suicide off the end of the cliffs."

Eric after being dumped on this island started walking around. He started hearing people talking and walked toward the group. Before he actuly saw the people he climbed into a tree so they couldn't see him. He had a perfect veiw of them all.

Jen suddenly lost track of what was happening. Something dark and gloomy was in her chest, spinning her around and forcing her against her will towards the cliffs. Trying to break away, she did everything she could think of to change shape or something. But she wasn't able too. Whatever was controling her body, her will seemed to have gone numb. As she walked off, she could have sworn that she had hear evil laughing.

~Will~

Chuckling, he followed her. Off the cliff, girl. Off the cliff. Her eyes burned into his as they walked. A few of the kids looked at the girl, wondering what she was doing. Why was she leaving What was she doing? Those were most of their questions. When the truth suddenly dawned on them, their first thoughts were Chris! But...It didn't look like this was Chris's fault. Chris would only try and kill off the others, not make his new body commit a suicide. Will almost died laughing when the idea hit their heads. A new rebel.

Shadow's eyes darted around, and he stuck his hand in his pocket and followed.

After a while, they came to a cliff. "Uh, you okay? HEllo?" She stepped right off the cliff.

His eyes widened as he watched. He shot out his hand, but not to catch her. His eyes glowed, and she stopped in mid-air. She hung there, blank face. "Who did this? Show yourself." He said, ripping a few trees out and throwing them at others. He pulled the girl back up and she slumped. He couldn't move with her leaning on hii. He'd have to rely on his mind if they DID decide to show.

The moment the girl had gotten back to land, Will had attacked the two people who had saved her. He was sooo close...just about to kill them...Jen whispered sharply, "Look out!" Just as he landed on both of the boys backs and shoved them head first over the cliffs. Will smirked smugly as they fell. Well, he hadn't managed to kill the girl. "So long." He muttered, eyes glittering.

Jennifer could feel pain in her face, the feel of the wind through her toes as she fell, the wait of hanging in mid air, suspended only by Shadow's power. Doing her best to get a grip on herself, she found all of her will power aimed into her mouth and brain. Forcing herself to bend to her own will, she gasped. "Look out!" When the boy's eyes left her's, she found the strength returning to her limbs. And then Will pushed Zane and Shadow overboard. "NOOO!" She shouted, and she and Sean dived for them. Jen brabbed Zane and Shadow's arms and Sean helped her get them back up. She panted, blood smearing on her cheeks from the rocks digging into her skin. Then hurt and rage burned into her and she whipped around to Will, who was no longer laughing.

He didn't even notice when she hit him. Jen sprang into the air, did a weird twist, and kicked him full in the face, knocking hm over. Will was knocked out even before he hit the ground. Jennifer whirled back around, landing easily on top of Will's chest and grinning at her friends, who stared at her. Bushing her hair from her face casually, Jen joked with a small smile, "Any questions?"

He turned invisable as soon as he was out of imidate danger. That had scared the **** out of him. To say the least. Jesus.

"What do we do with him?" Zane asked, pushing the invisable hair out of his face. It's not like they could kill him, that would be against everything they believed in. At least what Zane believed in..

The glasses are almost as good as when I first got them, Chase admired, tapping them with her index finger. She meant to say some kind of thanks but not a moment later they were all trucking off somewhere after that girl, Jen or something. Chase hadn't rolled her eyes with that much sincerity for a long while, but she couldn't exactly stand there doing nothing, could she? After a second or two standing there, bringing her strength back, Chase too went wandering after them.

Generally things that bothered other people didn't get to her. A picture of some grotesque creature, a slaughter house, things like that. But the simple fact that people were now throwing getting thrown over a cliff dug deep into her soul (if, in fact, it still existed) and caused her to sit quickly, throat tightening, stomach clenching. Chase couldn't bring herself to look up, even when she knew they were all safe. "...oh Lord..."

"I don't know. We can't just kill him...nor can we let him team up with Chris." Jennifer gave Shadow and Zane a grateful smile. "And thanks for what you did back there." Jen was now completely positive that she trusted Shadow. Eyes glowing, Jennifer prodded Will's stomach and listened to the gorwl. "He hasn't eaten for several days...a-at least not human food."

Her heart thudded sickenly hard in her chest. It hurt, actually. Zane looked at her quizzically and she murmured, "What I mean is...he's a cannibal."

He winced but knew no one could see him. "How can you tell?"

Sure, he felt disturbing, just being around this kid made Zane want to puke. But did that nessisarily mean he was eating peaple? Zane shuddered, letting visablity flow through him like water.

Shadow's eyes flashed again, and a mile away, a deer died, and was floated. It was set by Will's feet, and a pile a sticks was there, too, so he could cook. Shadow lit the fire, and nodded. "Will that do?" He asked, crossing his arms.

He wanted to shudder again. Shadow may have proved himself trustworthy but that didn't mean Zane had to like him. Scratch that! Zane didn't have a problem with Shadow himself. It was his power. To put it lightly, it scared Zane. Shadow cold do anything he wanted without having to lift so much as a finger. He could kill them all without blinking. What made Shawdow on their side and not Chris's? Or Will's? It didn't make sense..

"First of all, his breath smells like human blood. Second of all, by his last performance, did you actually think that he would be any different? Third of all, there's a weird sort of lump in his stomach that won't dissolve. It think that he might have accidentally eaten the writs or something. Here, feel this. Doesn't it?" Jennifer took Zane's hand and put it on Wills stomach in the precise spot. His eyes widened slightly. "Can't you tell? And, since I can become animals, I get to share thier instincts at all times. By the way his heart is beating, you can tell that it's the thrill of making a kill. And if you look into his eyes long enough, you can either see a flicker of guilt or a plain irresistable blood-thirsty glint. Bth are sure signs of cannibalism. And he just looks like that kind of guy." Jen's face paled. Glancing up at her friends, she murmured in a slightly quivering voice, "The perfect sidekick for soemone. Someone we know." Jen gulped, tensing, "Someone like Chris."

Zane shook his head, trying to keep his stomach contents in, "So I guess that means we can
t leave him here. Chris'll let him go..."

His hands shook. He had seen things but... This. There was nothing * lose to this in New York or anywhere for that matter. But here. This place... Was so... Off. He laughed aloud, hoping the others hadn't thought he was off the deep end. Off. This place was /off/. He couldn't desribe it, really. It was like some whole other world with a diffrent set of rules and morals.

In other words, you did what you needed to, to survive. It seemed like nobody would judge you if you got out of here alive. They just thought you were tough. Does that mean every other kid he saw on the streets who survived.. Had killed? Killed someone weak or hopeless. Manipluated them. Surviving this experience meant nothing. Nothing but the fact that you're cold-hearted killer.

Zane gulped. What was the government doing? Creating kids of the new generation to be cannibals and freaks. What was life going to be like 10 years from now? 5? Even 1? A wave of depression hit him hard. Where was he going to be?

"Don't worry, i'll do it." Sean said angrily. "Look away if you don't want to see this."
Sean pulled back his arrow, then let it loose. He noticed a few heads turn, un able to witness the kill. The arrow peiced Wills chest, and Sean quickly fired another arrow. He continued to do this, grunts of anger with every release of the arrow.
It had finnally gotten to Sean. He was releasing his anger into the murder of the boy. Eventually, he stopped, ripped the arrows out of the bow, then used one to cut his ropes. The boy fell into the fire, and caught fire. Sean rolled him towards the cliff, then with one final kick, the boy fell over, and plummited to the sharp rocks below. Sean watched him fall, and once he hit the ground, Sean turned away. It was obvious what he had just done had taken a serious affect on him.
"We need to move now. Chris nows where we are. Lets move, towards the beach. I've worked out some adjustments to our plan." He muttered.
